2008 Race Schedule
Some of these are tentative, and some depend on how the season goes so I may be updating this frequently. * *= key races!
*May 4 - Vancouver Half Marathon*
May 25 - Ski to Sea (Mt Baker to Bellingham Bay multi event relay race - 36-mile Road Bike leg)
May 31 - Issaquah Triathlon (Sprint Distance)
June 14 - 5 Mile Lake Triathlon (Sprint Distance) - maybe?
or
June 14 - Flying Wheels Century Ride - maybe?
June 21 - Cascade’s Edge Triathlon (Olympic Distance)
*July 6 - Lake Stevens Ironman 70.3 Triathlon*
I’m not going to plan anything past Lake Steven’s, but as long as I’m feeling good (not injured), I will likely be doing a few more sprint and olympic distance triathlons, and maybe even working my way up to the Seattle Marathon in November. I’ll update this as the season goes…

That’s a well packed eight weeks! Makes me feel distinctly slothful.

I am still figuring out how to use the blog. I am not sure where the best location would be to respond to your question.
Anyway:
I am planning on the Silverman in Henderson, NV. My father grew up in Sandpoint and I would love to do the one in Coeur d’Alene but due to the distance from Cortez, CO (+15 hours vs 7 hours) I will probably stay closer to home. I do have family in Boise and would like to do the Boise 70.3 in 2009 (I’m not ready for a 70.3 right now). I am ending the season with the 1/2 Silverman (70.3 but not in the circut) in November this year. I have my first sprint triathlon in 10 days in St George, UT. I am also planning on the Provo Tri in June (olympic dist), and a couple of runs (relay for Shiprock Marathon and the Other Half in Moab, UT).
I am still learning how to use the blog. When I figure out how to post a race schedule I will.
Good luck with your injury and the Lake Stevens 70.3

It’s great to see that you have such a packed schedule! It makes me feel better about all the races I’ve got planned and/or am considering adding to my schedule. (I may replicate the format you put your schedule into on my own page. I think it’s great to have the links to the different races so people can check them out!)
Good luck for a healthy and injury free season!

Nice schedule! My reason for blogging is the same as yours. The more people who are involved the more committed I have to be. Keep it up!
