Swim Class

Today was my frist day of the triathlon swim technique class taught by Teresa Nelson, one of our local pro triathletes.  It was great!  Lots of drills, drills, and more drills….pretty non-stop for the full 45 minutes.  Hopefully 6 weeks of this will help me improve my technique and get FAST!  or faster than my turtle pace at least!  :)

I’m estimating on the distance, but it was almost all drills.

About Moe

I love to continually challenge myself both physically and mentally. I recently started doing triathlons and running races and am hooked! I started this blog to help motivate and keep me accountable as I trained for my first ever half ironman (70.3) triathlon.  I successfully accomplished that and now have my sights set on even bigger goals - That's right, the real deal here folks!  I'm registered for the 2009 Ironman Coeur d'Alene on June 21.  Oh boy, I think I've lost my mind! Please help motivate, encourage, and inspire me so I can make it to the finish line! In return, I can only hope that by writing about my journey I can help to inspire at least 1 other person to make the move to a healthier more active lifestyle....and to take on their own challenges in life....whatever they may be!
