Ironman in 2009!

Registration for Ironman Coeur d’Alene opened today at 12:00. By 12:08 I was officially registered, and by 12:09 officially freaking out! What is wrong with me?!?! I haven’t even completed my first ever HALF Ironman (that’s in 12 days). Guess it’s going to be a busy year with swimming, biking, running, eating, & sleeping…. :) I will be an IronWoman!

Wow! I mean, WOW!

Right now, with just 11 days ’till my first half, I’ve serious doubts that I actually want to do a full IM next year. I’ll probably change my mind in, oh, about 11 1/2 days though! However, your courage in slapping down your fee & signing on the dotted line before your half is just fantastic.

Started your taper yet?

“….your courage in slapping down your fee & signing on the dotted line before your half is just fantastic…..” Ha! Yeah, either fantastic courage, or I’m just stupid and naive, and will totally regret signing up after my half! We shall see…. ;)

Girl How very cool are you? So happy for you. You have a partner for your running when you need some company.

I just completed my first half ironman and after all the time training took, I swore off the full Ironman….until I finished the half. The day after the half IM, I emailed my friend and said “now what, have you been thinking full IM?” Her reply was “you to??!!” We have fallen off our rocker!! You go MOE!!!! I don’t think you will regret signing up for the full IM. Good Luck and Good Health!
